Qualifications:
- Current and active Louisiana SLP-CCC license required
- Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Knowledge and ability to work with elementary-aged children
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in multiple school settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention plans for elementary students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team-based planning and goal setting
- Serve students onsite at two elementary school locations from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, 37.5 hours per week
- Adhere to ethical standards set by ASHA and the State of Louisiana
