A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Phoenix, AZ, supporting a general education caseload of approximately 30 students. This contract role provides leave coverage under FMLA from January 21, 2025, through April 1, 2026. The schedule consists of 22.5 hours per week, spread over three days, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Manage a caseload of about 30 students within a general education setting.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Adhere to ethical and professional guidelines for speech-language pathology practice.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Certification.
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Experience working with elementary school students.
- Familiarity with general education caseloads.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
This position requires onsite presence with no option for virtual services. There is no provision for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) support or vocational coverage.
