School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Make a positive impact on early communication skills by supporting preschool children as a Speech-Language Pathologist at several locations near Philadelphia, PA. You’ll work within an itinerant model, traveling to preschool sites in areas such as Upper Darby, Drexel Hill, Aston, Ridley/Woodlyn, and Springfield to provide essential speech and language interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Pennsylvania SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Willingness and capability to travel among designated locations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student goals and progress
Role Options:
- Two full-time roles (4-5 days/week) focusing on caseloads in Drexel Hill/Upper Darby and Aston
- One part-time role (3 days/week) managing cases in Ridley/Woodlyn and possibly Springfield
