Requirements for School-Based SLP Roles in Pennsylvania
To qualify for an SLP position in Philadelphia, you must:

Hold a valid Pennsylvania SLP license

Possess a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Have (or be eligible for) a PA Department of Education certification for school-based practice

Hold ASHA CCCs (or be completing CFY, depending on district needs)

Pass a background check and TB test
