Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication needs throughout south Austin on a full-time, on-site contract. You’ll serve as a key Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school community, with a schedule spanning one day at a high school and another at a nearby campus. What You’ll Bring:
- Texas SLP license/certification (active status required)
- Prior school-based SLP experience—this is essential
- Flexible, collaborative approach for multi-campus service
- Strong understanding of IEP development and therapy within a school setting
- Experience completing evaluations, conducting therapy, and managing caseloads
- Ability to balance evaluation-only and therapy-based responsibilities
- Willingness to remain onsite and fully engaged with staff and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy, evaluations, and required documentation for students with speech/language needs
- Contribute to and attend IEP meetings, working alongside families and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, timely case notes and progress data
- Travel between two close-by campuses within south Austin for direct services as assigned
- Adapt to varying workload and case assignments within district guidelines
This is a contract role ideally suited for an SLP who thrives in dynamic environments and values a direct connection with their school communities.
