Pediatric School-Based SLP | Castle Rock, Colorado
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Castle Rock, CO, serving K-12 students in a school setting. This role supports student communication development through therapy and educational collaboration.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans aligned with educational standards
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with privacy laws
- Utilizing technology and data to inform instruction and measure progress
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in educational software and technology for instruction and data management
- Ability to build positive relationships across diverse groups including students, staff, and families
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of behavior management, special education regulations, and Colorado Academic Standards
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive education practices
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as directed and independently without direct supervision
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
Details:
- Contract period: November 19, 2025 – May 22, 2026
- Work hours: Part-time or full-time options available (15-40 hours per week)
- Days per week: 2 to 5 days
- Age group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
