Position Overview:
A school district in Petal, MS is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for students with speech and language needs. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to work with a collaborative team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reports
-
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and service plans
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Valid Mississippi SLP license or eligibility to obtain

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
-
Prior experience in school settings preferred

Strong communication and organizational skills
