Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Perry, GA
A temporary full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for a professional certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide support during a maternity leave. This contract position starts mid-February and will last approximately six weeks, with a schedule close to 37.5 hours per week.
Located in Perry, GA, this role primarily serves high school students with some elementary level caseload responsibilities initially. The position is currently virtual, allowing for flexible coverage options and the convenience of remote work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and therapy sessions primarily with high school students, along with supporting elementary students as needed
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and best practices
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms effectively to engage students in a virtual learning environment
