Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Pelham area. The ideal candidate will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, helping them achieve success in the classroom and beyond. This role involves collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff to provide individualized intervention plans tailored to each student's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and participate in IEP meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Educate staff and families on speech and language development and strategies for support.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- NH SLP License and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- NH approval or eligibility for a school-based SLP role.
- Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
