Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pecos, NM

In this contract position, you’ll serve as an essential resource for students, staff, and families, collaborating to ensure every learner receives the communication support necessary for success. Caseload assignments and classroom placements are tailored to your expertise and interests, allowing you to focus on your preferred area while meeting student needs.
Desired Qualifications:
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate, diagnose, and implement therapy for a variety of speech and language disorders
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Positive, professional approach to collaborating with colleagues, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Collaborate with educators and participate in IEP meetings and implementation
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs), document progress, and maintain compliance
• Deliver direct and consultative services onsite as directed by student needs
• Participate in school-based activities as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team
