School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Pearland, Texas
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school near Eastern Houston, TX. This onsite role offers a hybrid work schedule with very flexible hours, including the option to work from home two days per month. The position has a caseload consisting of elementary or secondary students and is ideal for a licensed SLP seeking professional school experience in the Pearland area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate therapy records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in assessments and IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
- Proven professional experience in a school setting
- Ability to manage caseloads and document student progress efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff
