VocoVision connects ASHA-certified SLPs with school districts across New Hampshire seeking teletherapy providers. Our network serves schools needing qualified professionals to deliver speech and language services through virtual platforms.
Join a community of SLPs providing high-quality remote services to students with communication disorders. This position combines clinical expertise with technological innovation, allowing you to serve students effectively while maintaining work-life balance through remote practice.
Role Overview
Working 35-37.5 hours weekly, you'll manage a caseload of approximately 45 students ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade. Your services address articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and social communication challenges through evidence-based teletherapy. Sessions are conducted via secure video platforms, utilizing digital therapy materials and interactive activities that engage students in the virtual environment. You'll provide both push-in support during classroom activities and pull-out therapy sessions.
Daily Responsibilities
Your caseload management includes conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, analyzing assessment data, and writing detailed evaluation reports for eligibility determination. You'll attend virtual IEP meetings, contributing expertise regarding communication needs and developing appropriate goals. Therapy sessions utilize creative online activities, digital manipulatives, and screen-sharing capabilities to target specific communication objectives. Documentation includes detailed session notes, progress reports, and data collection demonstrating student growth. Collaboration with teachers involves sharing strategies for supporting communication in classroom contexts and consulting on accommodations.
Credential Requirements
All applicants must hold the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and maintain active licensure in New Hampshire. A Master's degree from a CAA-accredited program is mandatory. At least two years of school-based experience providing services to pediatric populations is required. Strong clinical reasoning skills, knowledge of childhood communication disorders, and familiarity with special education processes are essential.
Teletherapy Competencies
Success in teletherapy requires adaptability in translating traditional therapy activities to virtual formats. You'll need proficiency with telepractice platforms, comfort with digital therapy resources, and ability to maintain student engagement through screens. Technical requirements include high-speed internet, a professional workspace, and troubleshooting skills to address connectivity issues quickly.
