Speech Language Pathologist - Virtual Therapy | Toledo, OH
Transform student communication outcomes through comprehensive speech and language therapy in our innovative virtual education platform. We're seeking a dedicated speech language pathologist to deliver expert teletherapy services that help students develop essential communication skills and overcome barriers to academic and social success.
Position Overview
Provide speech and language therapy for a caseload of 48-56 students weekly, working 37 hours in our structured virtual platform. Your clinical expertise will support students across elementary through high school levels with articulation disorders, language delays, fluency concerns, and social communication needs through evidence-based teletherapy approaches.
Comprehensive Clinical Services
- Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations using standardized and informal assessment tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional therapy goals
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions through interactive virtual platforms using digital materials
- Implement evidence-based interventions for articulation and phonological disorders
- Provide expressive and receptive language therapy targeting vocabulary and grammar
- Support students with fluency disorders using stuttering modification and fluency-shaping techniques
- Address voice and resonance disorders with appropriate therapeutic protocols
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of school-based speech therapy experience
- Strong knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and evidence-based interventions
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery
- Excellent rapport-building skills for engaging students in online therapy
