Your role involves providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to approximately 45-52 students across elementary and middle school levels. Clinical Responsibilities
Conduct virtual therapy sessions addressing speech sound production, language development, and communication effectiveness. Your expertise will guide assessment procedures, treatment planning, and progress evaluation through evidence-based practices adapted for virtual environments. Documentation, IEP participation, and family communication are integral components of this comprehensive role.
Caseload Characteristics
Students typically span grades K-8, presenting with articulation disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency concerns, and social communication challenges. The virtual setting allows for innovative therapy approaches while maintaining the clinical rigor expected in educational practice. Session variety keeps work engaging and professionally stimulating.
Work Structure
Maintain a professional schedule of 35-36.5 hours per week from your home office, with session timing coordinated to optimize student availability and learning readiness. Essential Requirements
Active New Mexico Speech Language Pathologist license and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence are mandatory. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and possess at least two years of experience in school-based settings.
