Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist ready to make a meaningful impact through virtual therapy? Join our dynamic team of remote education professionals serving students across diverse school communities. We specialize in connecting qualified SLPs with rewarding opportunities in virtual learning environments where your expertise can flourish.
Position Overview
This remote Speech Language Pathologist position offers the flexibility of working from home while providing essential speech and language services to students in need. You'll be supporting a caseload of approximately 45-50 students across elementary and middle school grade levels, delivering individualized therapy sessions through our secure virtual platform. Our comprehensive support system ensures you have everything needed to provide exceptional care while maintaining work-life balance.
Core Responsibilities
Your role will encompass comprehensive speech-language pathology services including individual and group therapy sessions, IEP development and implementation, and collaborative work with educational teams. You'll conduct thorough assessments, develop targeted treatment plans, and monitor student progress through data-driven approaches. Parent communication and team collaboration are essential components, requiring strong virtual communication skills and professional relationship building.
Weekly Schedule & Caseload Details
This position offers 35-37 hours per week of direct service delivery, focusing primarily on articulation disorders, language delays, and fluency challenges. Students typically range from kindergarten through 8th grade, with session scheduling designed to accommodate both your availability and student needs. The virtual format allows for creative therapy approaches while maintaining the clinical rigor expected in school-based practice.
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must possess an active Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license along with ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience providing services in school settings. Virtual therapy experience is preferred but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Technology & Remote Work Requirements
Successful candidates should be comfortable with video conferencing platforms, basic computer troubleshooting, and adapting traditional therapy techniques for virtual delivery. A reliable internet connection, quiet workspace, and professional setup are essential for effective service delivery. Technical support is available to ensure smooth operation of all platforms and tools.
