This contract role offers a unique opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a leave of absence in a school setting located in Pawtucket, RI. The position provides essential support to middle and high school students with special education needs. The assignment begins immediately and continues until further notice, allowing for a flexible engagement period.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 57 students across three sites—two middle schools and one high school. The role requires delivering specialized speech-language pathology services aligned with special education objectives. Candidates will collaborate with educators and support staff to create individualized plans that address student communication goals.
Position Details:
- Location: Pawtucket, RI
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 6.5 hours per day (32.5 hours weekly)

Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (CCC or CFY preferred)
- Experience working in school-based settings
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying communication needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Availability for interviews between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, as soon as possible
