A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Clifton, NJ, serving a middle school caseload. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students in a dynamic educational setting, delivering assessments, therapy, and individualized interventions to promote effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for middle school students.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans addressing students’ communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state education guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New Jersey.
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably middle school students.
- Strong understanding of school-based speech-language therapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload of approximately 37.5 hours per week.
This is a contracted position offering a set schedule aligned with the school calendar. Candidates should be prepared to interview early to mid-May in anticipation of the upcoming school year.
