Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Montclair, NJ
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Montclair, NJ, working within a school setting from ASAP through the end of the current school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide services to PreK and Middle School students (6th-8th grade), with a caseload of approximately 30 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in PreK and Middle School.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Complete compensatory services if choosing to focus solely on either the PreK or Middle School group.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and session notes.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working with PreK and Middle School-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt services to meet the needs of different age groups.
