A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an elementary school setting, serving students from PreK through 4th grade. This is a leave of absence contract expected to last approximately 3-4 months, from ASAP until April, with the exact end date to be determined. The assignment is located in Paterson, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students ranging from PreK to 4th grade
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver in-person therapy services on-site, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active NJ Speech-Language Pathology license
- Active NJ Educator License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellowship candidates (CFs) are not eligible
- Ability to begin immediately with valid licensure in NJ within the past year for record archiving purposes
- Availability to work 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Onsite work only; remote or virtual options are not available for this position
