Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Paterson, New Jersey

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage at an elementary school in Paterson, NJ. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students within an elementary school setting, supporting their communicative and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to an elementary-aged caseload of approximately 15 students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans consistent with student goals and state guidelines.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and comply with state policies and regulations.
- Participate in meetings and support school initiatives related to speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure is required.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services as needed.
- Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist – Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Details:
- Contract position covering a leave during the current school year.
- Typical workweek and daily hours to be determined based on school schedule.
- Serve elementary-aged students exclusively.
