Overview
A student-centered school district in Pasco, Washington, is currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students with speech and language disorders. Primary Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and communication needs in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student-specific communication goals.

Provide evidence-based direct therapy to students in both individual and group formats.

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other service providers to support integrated learning approaches.

Maintain accurate documentation including assessment reports, service logs, and progress notes in accordance with district requirements.

Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, offering clinical insight to guide educational planning.

Consult with educators and parents to implement classroom strategies that promote communication development.

Stay informed on current trends, tools, and regulations in school-based speech-language services.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university

Valid Washington State license or eligibility to obtain state licensure

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates will be considered

Experience in a K–12 school setting preferred

Comprehensive understanding of IDEA and special education procedures

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and serve a diverse student population
