A rewarding opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting in the Baltimore area. This contract position involves working on-site with preschool, elementary, and middle school students, supporting their communication development and enhancing their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students aged preschool through middle school, tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide services across multiple school locations, including community preschools, elementary schools, and a middle school.
  • Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as part of collaborative service delivery (specific to middle school assignment).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Engage with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student goals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland Professional Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with preschool through middle school students in school-based settings.
  • Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) Monday through Friday or part-time (30 hours per week) Monday through Thursday, with flexibility for additional days if desired.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel between community preschool locations and assigned schools on an itinerant basis.
  • Commitment to on-site work; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

Assignment Details:

  • Position A: Full-time, 12/1/2025 – 1/9/2026 with potential for additional coverage; community preschool locations; preschool-aged students.
  • Position B: Full-time, 2/16/2026 – 5/29/2026 (with possible ESY extension); Magnolia Elementary (3 days) and Prospect Mill Elementary (2 days); elementary-aged students.
  • Position C: Part-time, 3/16/2026 – 6/18/2026 (with possible ESY extension); Aberdeen Middle School; middle school students with SLPA supervision.
