Speech-Language Pathologist – Paris, Maine
A school district in the Paris, ME area is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support student communication and academic growth. In this school-based role, you will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to students with a variety of speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
• Complete school-based speech and language assessments and contribute to eligibility decisions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
• Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social-pragmatic skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and required reports per Maine guidelines.
• Stay up to date on current best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility in process).
• ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• School-based or pediatric experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
