A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support an elementary school in Bellevue, NE, covering a leave from approximately January 26th through April 17th. This full-time position involves working with a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. The role focuses on supporting language development, articulation, social skills, and fluency among young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure integrated support for students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate extended sessions when required.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged children.
- Strong skills in language development, articulation, social skills, and fluency interventions.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students effectively.
Location:
- Elementary School Setting, Bellevue, Nebraska
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Daily hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with some flexibility for IEP meetings running longer.
