School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Palo Alto, California
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support elementary students in grades K-5 at multiple onsite locations in Palo Alto, CA. This contract position spans the current school year, with an expected end date of June 4, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evaluation and treatment services to elementary school students with speech and language needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ goals and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in virtual interviews as part of the hiring process.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Credentials: CCC and/or CFY preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5).
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and intervention techniques in school settings.
- Ability to work onsite full-time, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
