Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Early Childhood Assessment Specialist
Location: Redwood City, California
Contract Duration: November 1, 2025 – June 6, 2026
Work Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday through Friday | 8 hours per day
Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as an Early Childhood Assessment Specialist. This full-time contract role is based in Redwood City, California, and focuses on conducting speech and language evaluations for preschool-aged children. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive assessments that help identify early intervention needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed bilingual speech and language evaluations for preschool children using developmentally appropriate assessment tools

Compile comprehensive evaluation reports with clear recommendations for intervention and services

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, therapists, and families to develop effective individualized plans

Participate in eligibility determination meetings and contribute expertise to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development

Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with all district and regulatory standards

Communicate evaluation processes and results clearly and compassionately with families in their native language

Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in bilingual speech-language pathology and early childhood assessment
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field

Current, valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license

Proficient in English and at least one additional language (Spanish preferred, other languages welcome)

Experience conducting early childhood assessments, ideally in school or early intervention settings

Familiarity with IDEA, special education regulations, and IEP development

Excellent communication skills and cultural competence working with diverse populations

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseload efficiently
