Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Adelanto, CA
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school serving grades TK-6 in Adelanto, CA. This contract position offers the chance to work within a school setting, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse pediatric caseload.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Familiarity with SEIS (Special Education Information System) and Aeries student information systems is preferred to efficiently manage student documentation and progress tracking.
Typical work hours are from 7:50 AM to 2:45 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with extended hours until 3:30 PM on Wednesdays for Professional Development sessions. The contract runs until June 5th, 2026, with specific start dates to be determined.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials with experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Experience assessing students and developing individualized therapy plans
- Knowledge of school-based assessment tools and procedures
- Proficiency with SEIS and Aeries student information systems preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and families
