Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Santa Clarita, California
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a high school setting in Santa Clarita, CA. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with students across 1-2 on-site school locations, supporting their speech and language development throughout the full semester contract until the end of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to high school students, addressing a range of communication disorders.
- Manage a caseload primarily focused on adolescent populations within the school setting.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Experience in school-based SLP services, including work with pediatric and adolescent populations.
- Familiarity with teletherapy is advantageous but role is strictly on-site.
- Experience with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, on-site position from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Position covers the duration of the current school year with discussions about summer hours and potential renewal for the 2026-2027 school year.
