Travel School Speech Pathology | Palm Springs, California
A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a travel assignment in Palm Springs, CA. This position involves delivering comprehensive speech therapy services within a school setting, focusing on pediatric and school-aged populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders to identify needs and establish baselines.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication goals.
- Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech and language challenges effectively.
- Monitor, document, and analyze student progress to ensure optimal outcomes and adjust treatments as needed.
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and maximize student success.
- Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process to reinforce progress outside the clinical setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged clients preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with students, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing collaboratively within a team environment.
- Active license recognized by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology.
