Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available within a Southeast Florida public school district, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, particularly for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Work onsite within assigned schools, providing direct support to students
- Support caseload management with 1-2 school assignments depending on the schedule
- Assist in maintaining compliance with district reporting and documentation standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP licensure is required
- Experience completing evaluations for Autism students is essential
- Background working within school settings is preferred
- Ability to obtain necessary fingerprint clearance (may utilize Department of Health records)
Locations & Scheduling:
- Oak Hammock K-8 in Port St. Lucie, FL (2 days per week)
- CA Moore K-7 and FK Sweet Elementary in Ft. Pierce, FL, with options for full-time or split part-time assignments (CA Moore has no self-contained units; FK Sweet has one ASD unit)
- Work alongside one SLP and one SLPA onsite at DHH Cluster sites
