This role involves providing comprehensive speech therapy services, including assessments, individualized therapy, and consultations to a diverse caseload within the school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language strategies
Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Kansas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly K-12, is highly desirable
