This contract role focuses on early childhood (ages 3-5) student populations within a well-established district. You’ll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (37.5 hours per week) at a facility in the Blaine, MN area, beginning approximately August 25, 2026, and concluding June 10, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience with early intervention and/or ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational abilities
- Must submit a current resume and MN SLP license for consideration
Role & Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct treatment for children ages 3-5 exhibiting communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students’ needs
- Consult and collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and caregivers
- Monitor student progress and document services in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in case conferences, evaluation meetings, and team planning sessions
- Provide support and strategies to families for enhancing language development at home
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality of student information
