Speech Pathology - Andover, MN
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in a full-semester contract position located in Andover, MN. This role supports student development by assessing, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills within the school setting. The ideal candidate holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience working in educational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and school district guidelines
- Provide educational support and resources tailored to student needs within the school context
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services preferred
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational frameworks and communication development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
