Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Kansas SLP license required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings with elementary-aged children
- Knowledge of special education protocols and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and evaluations for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Delivering direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success plans
