Speech Therapist in Auburn, CA
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services within a school setting in Auburn, CA. This role involves delivering targeted speech and language therapy to pediatric and school-aged populations through both in-person and teletherapy formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide therapy sessions focusing on speech and language goals
- Monitor and document progress meticulously to track student development
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, therapists, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Educate and engage families in the therapeutic process to support student success
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly valued
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
This position requires an active SLP license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology, or eligibility for licensure, and a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
