A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with an active Florida state license and ASHA SLP-CCC certification is needed to provide specialized services across multiple private K-12 schools in the Orlando area. This itinerant role supports students in a variety of educational environments, delivering speech and language intervention that promotes effective communication and academic success.
Location: Orlando, FL (service areas include Oviedo and Sanford)
Position Type: Contract, school year (ASAP through 5/27/2026)
Schedule: Full-time, itinerant across assigned private schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language pathology services to K-12 students across multiple private schools
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with district policies and professional standards
- Participate in student assessments, therapy sessions, and IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse communication needs of students
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Current Florida state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with school-aged children across multiple grade levels (K-12)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and school teams
- Willingness to travel between multiple school locations as an itinerant therapist
