Remote Educational Speech-Language Pathologist Oregon Schools
As a Remote Educational Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide contract teletherapy services for students with speech and language impairments across Oregon’s school districts. This role offers autonomy and flexibility while ensuring students receive high-quality, IDEA-compliant support. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement therapy that promotes academic and social communication development. Your expertise will help bridge the gap in services for students who benefit from virtual intervention.
Duties:

Deliver speech therapy through secure telepractice platforms.

Conduct virtual assessments using standardized and informal measures.

Collaborate with special education teams to develop and update IEPs.

Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and outcomes.

Provide training and support for classroom staff on communication strategies.

Monitor student progress and adjust therapy accordingly.

Participate in virtual eligibility and re-evaluation meetings.

Assist with transition planning and post-secondary communication goals.

Consult with families regarding home practice activities.

Adhere to state and federal guidelines for service delivery.

Use technology effectively to engage students.

Support district initiatives focused on inclusive education.

Address fluency, articulation, language, and pragmatic needs.

Coordinate with school-based providers and therapists.

Submit reports for Medicaid and other funding sources.

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
