A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for an on-site contract opportunity within a K-12 school district located in Saint Johns, FL. This assignment runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, supporting students across three school locations with varied scheduling options available for part-time and full-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Manage caseloads that may range from approximately 10 to 44 students per site.
- Deliver therapy during school hours, with schedules varying between 1 to 4 days per week depending on the assigned school.
- Collaborate with experienced SLPs who support middle and high school programs to optimize student outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all district and state guidelines for speech-language services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of an active Florida Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to provide on-site services exclusively.
Worksites Include:
- Pedro Menendez High School: Approx. 44 students, 4 days per week, 8:45am–4:15pm.
- Nease High School: Approx. 30 students, 2-3 days per week, 8:30am–4:00pm.
- Patriot Oaks Academy (K-8): Approx. 10-15 students, 1 day per week, 7.5 hours.
