Step into an impactful contract role as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a difference across an entire school district. This full-time position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours weekly from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM. Your expertise will help students reach their communication goals in a supportive educational environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through June 25, 2027.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid New Jersey SLP license (CCC-SLP required)
- Prior school-based SLP experience
- Confident working district-wide and traveling as needed
- Ability to independently manage a diverse student caseload
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing direct therapy
- Willingness and preparedness to furnish your own testing materials
- Comfortable navigating onboarding requirements: TB test, physical exam, and fingerprinting for both agency and district
- Reliable transportation and openness to local commute
- Please note: Supervision for CF and SLPA candidates is unavailable for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services, including intervention, assessment, and regular progress reporting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple school sites in the district
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and IEP regulations for each student
- Provide input on best practices for supporting students’ communicative growth
