A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Oneonta, AL, supporting a learning center environment. This role serves a caseload of 49 students, including a high-needs group primarily in 5th grade or lower, with some high school students as well. The position offers a part-time schedule, working four days per week from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language assessments and therapy services tailored to individual student needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
  • Participate in team meetings, progress reporting, and communication with parents and school staff
  • Provide support to a diverse group of students with various speech and language challenges

Qualifications:

  • Valid Alabama State license for Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings highly desirable
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload including younger and older students
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Location & Work Details:

  • Position based onsite in Oneonta, AL
  • Part-time schedule: 4 days per week, 7:30 AM – 2 PM
  • Opportunity for flexibility with some options for hybrid or VOCO scheduling arrangements
