A dynamic school district in Kent, WA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to K-12 students on a contract basis for the current school year. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing targeted speech-language services. The caseload will not exceed 50 students, allowing for personalized attention and impactful intervention. You will collaborate with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are available on-site to support your work. The role follows a part-time schedule with the potential for full-time hours, typically from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology required; Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred but new Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working within school settings, particularly with preschool and primary-aged children.
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments.
- Ability to manage a caseload with organizational efficiency.
