Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Start Date: 2025–2026 School Year

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a collaborative team of professionals supporting students across various educational settings in Washington State. This role is ideal for clinicians passionate about helping children and young adults overcome communication challenges to reach their full academic and social potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students across all grade levels.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) based on assessment results, student needs, and educational goals.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings.

  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.

  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP goals.

  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

  • Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff regarding speech-language development and strategies.

  • Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Support students in general education and special education settings.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.

  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in Speech Language Pathology, or eligibility to obtain.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates also encouraged to apply.

  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting.

  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.

  • Proficiency in using digital tools for documentation, therapy, and virtual service delivery (if applicable).

  • Familiarity with culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices.

Work Environment:

  • Positions available across elementary, middle, and high schools.

Compensation for this position ranges from $39.87 to $69.87. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
