Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Kansas SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Skilled in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Anticipated Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students (Infant-Toddler, PreK-12, or Middle/Elementary populations)
- Deliver direct therapy sessions aligned with IEPs and district guidelines
- Provide both onsite and hybrid/remote services as needed
- Maintain detailed progress notes, documentation, and data collection
- Consult with teachers and administrators to support students’ educational outcomes
- Engage with families to foster carryover and support beyond the classroom
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and school-wide team planning
- Adapt intervention materials and strategies to meet diverse needs
