Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students primarily in preschool through fifth grade, with occasional middle school caseloads.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide supervision for Clinical Fellows if applicable.
  • Serve multiple assignment locations, often at one school but adaptable to part-time roles across several campuses.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold an active Florida state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working within school settings, ideally with early childhood and elementary-aged students.
  • Ability to work independently while managing caseload requirements.
  • Flexibility to cover multiple schools when necessary, including off-site Head Start programs.
  • Open to Clinical Fellows with supervision provided.

Location and Work Hours:

  • Based in Okeechobee, FL, with assignments mainly in Port St. Lucie and Ft. Pierce.
  • Full-time roles require 37.5 hours per week aligned with the school calendar.
