School-Based Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) In Odessa, DE for 25/26 School Year
We're looking for passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Odessa, Delaware, for the upcoming school year! We have two exciting opportunities to make a real difference in students' lives.
Position 1: Elementary Autism Caseload SLP (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) specifically tailored to the unique communication needs of elementary students with ASD.

Provide direct therapy, focusing on areas like social communication, pragmatic language, expressive and receptive language, and functional communication skills.
-
Collaborate closely with special education teachers, behavioral specialists, and other support staff to integrate communication goals into daily routines and academic instruction.

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as needed.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
Position 2: Elementary/Middle School General Education SLP (Full or Part-Time)
Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language needs in general education students from elementary through middle school.

Develop and implement IEPs for students with various communication disorders, including articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, and language impairments.

Provide direct individual and group therapy services.
-
Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to facilitate carryover of communication skills into academic and home environments.

Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications for Both Positions:
-
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one.

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Strong understanding of assessment tools and evidence-based therapy practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success.
