Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services for a school district near Odessa, DE. This is a school-based position where you'll work closely with students, educators, and support staff to help students access their education through improved physical function and mobility. We are looking for someone who values evidence-based practice, student-centered care, and a collaborative team environment.
Position Details:

Start Date: Upcoming school year (with potential to renew)

Schedule: Full-time (part-time may be considered)

Caseload: Pre-K through 12th grade students

Service Type: Direct therapy, evaluations, IEP development, progress reporting

Work Environment: One to two school sites, supportive multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:

Perform evaluations and re-evaluations to assess students’ physical therapy needs
-
Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals in collaboration with IEP teams
-
Provide direct therapy services to support gross motor skills, mobility, posture, and access to the school environment

Document services and maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
-
Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and school staff
Qualifications:
-
Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
-
Current Delaware Physical Therapy License
-
Previous pediatric or school-based experience strongly preferred
-
Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage a consistent caseload
