A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students with diverse communication needs in a learning center setting. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a varied caseload, supporting elementary through high school students. The position is located in Odenville, AL, and requires onsite work with some potential flexibility for hybrid arrangements, based on needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support for a caseload of approximately 49 students
- Work primarily with high-needs students, most of whom are in 5th grade or below, along with some high school students
- Deliver individualized treatment plans and track student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with relevant policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Alabama license for Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in educational settings, particularly with elementary and secondary students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a high-needs caseload effectively
Schedule & Location:
- Part-time, Monday through Thursday
- Hours: 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM
- Onsite in Odenville, AL, with possible options for hybrid work arrangements
