Specialized SLP Opening – Danville, IL Area
Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support a 5th–6th grade caseload in a school district near Danville, Illinois. The role is scheduled for the full 2025–2026 academic year, running from August 14, 2025, to May 27, 2026. The caseload includes approximately 25–30 students, primarily those with autism and Down syndrome. This position is ideal for an SLP who has experience with or a strong interest in working with students who have specialized communication needs.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to 5th and 6th grade students

Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development
-
Implement individualized speech-language goals based on student needs
-
Collaborate with special education teachers, support staff, and families

Monitor and document progress using data-driven practices
-
Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Illinois SLP license required prior to start date

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFs may be considered

Experience working with students with autism and/or Down syndrome preferred

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
-
Ability to work full-time, 35 hours per week, throughout the school year
