Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist, Oakley, CA

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a part-time assignment in an Elementary school in Oakley, CA.
Requirements:
- California SLP license or CTC credential
- Schools experience strongly preferred
Applicants will be working alongside a part-time SLP at the building, collaborating with a part-time SLPA and SLP to service a caseload of 56 students. Additional information will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
