Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oakland, ME
Make a meaningful impact on K-8 students by providing speech-language services during the upcoming school year! We are seeking a dedicated, full-time SLP to support a diverse range of learners at a single site, working with a caseload of 30-50 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. This contract opportunity runs from August 26th, 2026, through June 12th, 2027, offering the chance to collaborate with educators and families in a positive, growth-oriented environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Eligibility for state SLP licensure
- Experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to different student needs
Role Details & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students in K-8 across a spectrum of communication needs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and caregivers to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
- Collaborate on intervention strategies and share progress updates
