Step into a fulfilling role supporting K-8 students by providing exceptional speech and language services during the 2026-2027 school year. As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working on a contract basis, you'll collaborate in a dynamic school environment serving a diverse range of student needs. This position begins August 26th, 2026 and runs through June 12th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM) at a single school site.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure for SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-50 students
- Comfort working with K-8 students across a variety of communication disorders
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
- Quick learner ready to begin the interview and onboarding process promptly
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation
- Consult with teachers and families to support classroom integration and carryover of skills
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration to support overall student success
